Storage is one of the few industries where the customer experience hasn't changed in thirty years. We intend to change that, from the ground up. Henriksson Storage was founded in 2025, and we've already gone from idea to 20+ facilities across Sweden and the UK. Our next target is 1,000 facilities across Europe. Getting there takes a dedicated team: people who move fast, have the courage to innovate, and never stop looking for smarter ways of doing things.
That growth is a race, and in this race speed and quality matter equally. Opening one facility fast is easy; opening a hundred facilities fast, and having every single one of them be somewhere people genuinely trust with their belongings, is not. We take real pride in how well looked-after our facilities are, and as we push toward 1,000 sites, this is the role that makes sure that pride holds up at scale.
The role
You lead construction and fit out of our container self storage facilities in close step with the team, from coordinating contractors and builders through to reviewing build quality and handover to operations. You coordinate installation of facility systems, access control, CCTV, security, utilities, and when something needs fixing on site right now, you're just as comfortable picking up the tools and doing it yourself.
You’ll support sourcing, onboard and managing the contractors and look after ongoing maintenance, repairs, and facility audits, across the network. You're the first port of call when something goes wrong at any site, identifying what needs attention and either resolving it directly or coordinating the right support to see it through, and keeping the team closely updated along the way. You're constantly looking for better ways to build and operate, trialling new methods, rolling out what works, and dropping what doesn't.
This is a hands-on role with a steady, visible presence across sites, not someone who only shows up when something's gone wrong. You’ll be the critical link between how fast the business wants to expand and what's built and run well on the ground, whether that's on a construction site, with a contractor, or inside a facility that's already open.
What we're looking for
- Background in facilities management, construction, or building services, technically credible with contractors
- Practically skilled with tools, comfortable getting hands on with repairs and site improvement work, not just overseeing it
- Genuinely ambitious, sees this as a platform to grow with the company as it scales
- Thrives in a fast moving, early stage environment where process is still being built
- Confident making the day to day calls on site, and just as comfortable keeping the team closely looped in on anything that matters
- Hands on, resourceful, and detail oriented, on site through construction and beyond
- Curious and experimental, tests new tools and knows when to drop what isn't working
Hard requirements
- Clean UK driving licence
- Willing to travel extensively across the UK, including overnight stays
